C1 21 Adjustment Sliders and Pixelation
I am running C1 21 on an iMac. Since upgrading to C1 21 if I add an adjustment layer to an image and then go back to the background layer to fine tune some of the sliders, the image completely breaks up with black squares and lines as I am moving the sliders. The only way to prevent this from happening is to turn off all other layers. This never happened with C1 20. Any ideas?

Try setting "Clarity" to zero value (on all layers if adjusted).
This could help to rid of those pixelations. This is only temp solution until this bug is fixed.

@David Larson
Try turning off the Hardware Acceleration via the Preferences > General tab to see if that makes a difference.
If it does there are some more things to check and a search for OpenCL or Hardware Acceleration and GPU should bring up a host of articles that offer some suggestion for more things to look into and try out in order to narrow down the problem area.

I am also having problems using CO 21 on a 2020 27" iMac (3.8 GHz i7, 40GB RAM, Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8GB GPU, Catalina 10.15.7). Editing tools (example HDR sliders) virtually unusable. Very erratic behavior, switching back and forth between extreme high or low setting, choppy, delays before settling on final value. I also, intermittently, get the large black pixilation on the image (while using the sliders). I have read a lot about possible OpenCL problems with the 5000 XT series GPU. I have set HW acceleration to NONE, and the problem gets better but is still not right. Also tried kernel rebuild (deleting ImageCore directory). I'm a new user and want to love this app, but, so far, it is unusable on this Mac. Any help or suggestions would sure be welcome!
