CaptureOne 21 beach balls on closing

CaptureOne 21 takes almost a minute (I.e. beachballs) on my M1 2020 MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD under Rosetta 2 on macOS Big Sur.

Is this to be expected? Suggested fix?

    I use an M1 MBP, occasionally its slows down on shutting down, but I think this is largely due to the catalogue size, and the emulation. 

    I honestly believe that once (and if) C1 moves to a Universal binary version, these issues will go. I have always found the software pretty stable, but with any new release some minor bugs will need to be addressed.

    i edit with the M1 macbook air
    no lag on my side, I have another issue thus the export JPG engine does not work can you check ?

    Hi, the export engine is working fine for me, just slightly slower

    Is it not because it is backupping your catalogue ?

    At least, that's what it does on my old MacPro 5.1
