Capture One Express.
Will the free Capture One 20 Express be updated to 21?

Capture One Express for Sony won't download to my iMac. I have all the required software. Can anyone answer this for me?

What do you mean when you write "I have all the required software"?
Capture One is a single download file.
Which feature set you have access to is controlled by the Activation Code.

Sorry should have been clearer. I mean my iMac has all the requirements needed to use Express. When I hit ‘download’ I get the message that my download will happen soon, and I get the activation code. But nothing happens after that.

After you hot the Download button do you then see a screen that asks for you to "Update your details to continue"? (I assume you do as you seem to have reached the Activation Key screen.
At that point I also see a Browser box appear asking me what I want to do with the download - Open the file or save it somewhere. If you miss that box while concentrating on grabbing the activation key it may not automatically re-appear. (Using Win 10 and MS Edge at the moment.)
I suspect that, for some reason, you are not seeing the related questions above and therefore the download does not start. Check your browser for any evidence of that.
If that is not the issue I would suggest trying a different browser if you have one just to see if that changes anything to help.

Tried Chrome. Still the same issue. Really strange as I’ve previously had Express on this iMac but had to delete when it had to be rebuilt.
