Pixelshift support for Fuji but not for Sony ?

while c1 did not see the need to add support for sony .arq files since years they are rather swift to add it for the fuji gfx100 which is really astonishing. does anyone believe that  this is based on a rational decision, like they had received a higher number of requests for the fuji over the sony ?  it would be interesting to know why the one system deserves this attention and the other not.
