CO21 is noticeably slower than CO20
I use my old MacBook Pro (Late 2013, 2.4 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, macOS 10.15.7) offline (with a Preview Image Size of 3840 px) for a quick preselection and first edit steps.
With CO20 there was no problem, now, with CO21 I recognize a remarkably time to calculate the view for the pictures, for example when I select different Styles.
Now it needs up to 20s time to show the result of a applied Style. You can see, how CO21 calculate, sometimes the colors change or the image is split before the final result is displayed.
Even small processing steps (changing Exposure or similar) now need recognizable time.
The hardware acceleration was set up correctly, and I have also had them calculated again, but there is no change.
This slow speed makes CO21 quite unusable compared to CO20 on this computer.
Even on my fast computer with a large GPU, the slow calculation speed of C21 is now noticeable.
What has changed compared to CO20?
Does the Capture One Engine 20/21 need so much more computing power, even for small processing steps?
What, if at all, is the Engine optimized for?
Greetings

Hello Thomas,
i have a MAC Mini 2018 and have as similar experience. C1 21 runs much slower. The sliders can not be used in real time and i have 20Mpix pictures.
I played with hardware acceleration but no difference. OK Mini have no good graphic card. but C1 20 runs much faster.
