Capture one 20 freezes windos 10
hey guys,
we work in our studio with more then 70 licences of capture one 20 at the moment.
Lately we see that CaptureOne 20 freeze our Windows PC´s for no reason.
We tried a lot of things like
- cleaning storage space
- upgrade on the latest version of CaputreOne 20
- update Camera (Canon 5DM4)
but nothing works.
Its quite strange bec this is not happening on every PC but it seems as this problem grows.
A week ago it started with one PC and now over 8 Days we end up with 7 PC´s with the same problem.
I would really love to hear if somebody has a similar problem or even a solution for it.

I have just started to use a new Win 10 based machine with C1 V20 and not much else on it and in use - other than Edge.
I'm still learning Win 10.
After a few days certain things started to slow down when resuming after hibernation despite fast SSD, etc.
Oddly things seem to start but suddenly seem to "stick" for several seconds even during the resume phase.
It may be a memory thing. Edge seems to like having memory available and the system came with just 16Gb and I have yet to upgrade it. Edge with a few tabs open and C1 running seems to use almost all available memory and go into swapping mode.
It does this randomly and mostly, but not exclusively, when there is something active (maybe even in the background) happening in Edge.
This may be an as yet poorly observed phenomenon (by me) but so far I am left puzzled. I have been checking out Da Vinci for the past few days on and off and there are signs of similar pauses there too so I suspect an OS issue.
Are all of the systems where the phenomenon has been observed running at the same update level of Win 10?
I assume you are observing Tethering when you see this issue but in my case the odd effects seem to arrive when doing almost anything.
However for tethering especially it may be worth ensuring that there are no memory cards in the cameras.
Also - are you using network connected cameras?
