    Hi Olaf,

I don't think C1 follows the same star rating technique? I may have to check, but I use a GNARBOX and rate using the phone app Selects, which uses the Photo Mechanic system for tagging, which seems to work in LR but doesn't seem to replicate into C1. I will have to check.

Have you seen this short tutorial? It looks as though star ratings and colour tags should be imported.

And this video (similar thing based on an earlier Capture One version) explicitly says so - see from about 1m 50s in.

Make sure that Lightroom saves the metadata to an XMP file.

Capture One reads the XMP file on first reading (import) and you can make Capture One read it again by using the command Load Metadata.

Thank you all very much, for your comments.

Yes, I saw the video you recommended, Ian Wilson. I followed the instructions step by step.

I also saved my datas as XMP files in LR.

Unfortunately C1 didn't take over the ratings, but some adjustments like exposure, etc.

I guess I still made something wrong.

    Many regards to all
    Olaf

I don't thing that there is something wrong on your side. I have the same problem and opened a ticket for it. They closed it with reference to the tutorial how it should work. Well, it just does not do it. I re-opened the ticket and gave an example catalog. For me only some exposure settings are imported, not the color-lables but the star-rating. In an earlier version the exposure was better imported, but not the colors. At the moment nearly nothing is imported. Still waiting for an official answer for a few weeks now. For now, I would say importing a LR catalog just does not work.

    Greetings

    Thanks for this information, Ralf.

I read on one of the Capture One pages that importing LR Catalogs work till version 9.2.... Meanwhile LR is on 10.1... Maybe this is the reason why importing of star and color ratings... and exposure settings don't work.

Please let me know when C1-support gives you an official answer.

    Greetings,
    Olaf

Make sure that you lightroom color labels are set to lightroom default and not bridge or other set.

    In metadata menu/color label set.

Then open the LR  catalog in CO as import.
