Export Original as EIP does not include settings

I believe that is exactly what export original is intended to do.  It does not include any adjustments. Asking for EIP format packages the original raw file into a zip file and renames it as EIP.

If you want your adjustments to be included you need to export variant as EIP.   The EIP will still contain the original raw file.  It will also contain the adjustments you've made.

Hi Marco, I found out by reading and trying that it is very necessary to not import with that arrow (shortcut) on top left of the Capture One menu bar but import images via the menu "file-import images-…" and include adjustments. Like this also variants are included. Thanks and Kind Regards, Uwe

I suspect we are not communicating very well.   I understood your initial question to be about exporting, not importing.   Perhaps I misunderstood.

As for the Arrow versus File -> Import Images... They do exactly the same thing on my machine.  The same import window is opened.  The import window does include an Adjustments section which has a checkbox to include adjustments.

Hi Marco, yes and no - I was just not patient enough to wait after importing to see that indeed (as you say) all adjustments are as done by myself - at first it wasn`t or I had accidentially unchecked "include adjustments". For export it is just not comprehensible (at least not for me), why the export via shortcut and/or export-button has no "original" included and one has to "file - export images - …original" in order to export as "eip". I export original as eip only for my client(and this is the only client so far, using CaptureOne for its database in the future), so all adjustments from my side are included and in order to have my client the best base for images, to have the most versatility to do whatever is needed with images (print-web (header-topic")-newsletter-whatever-colour-BW-…) without the loss in any qualitymeans, if you know what I mean.

Thx for getting back and help - Kind Regards,

    Uwe
