Healing mask edits not "printing"
Hi all,
I'm finding that, after using the healing mask tool to remove small, unwanted parts of an image, that those edits won't "print". The image looks like I want it to look in C1, but the unwanted bits are still there when I process the photo as a jpg image for use online. I can't figure out why this is happening.
Any ideas?

I am using a MacMini M1 and the only way I can get the jpeg output to show the removed parts of an image is if I switch the heal layer off and then export.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your reply. By saying "the only way I can get the jpeg output to show the removed parts of an image" do you mean that you want to see the removed parts? My problem is the opposite. I want the removed parts removed. For some reason it's not working when processing the image to any export format. I tried toggling the healing layer off and exporting, but the "wanted to be removed" bits were still there (which makes sense). Turning the healing layer back on and processing again yielded that same negative results...
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
The M1 chip is not yet supported. You could try to set hardware acceleration to 'Never' in Preferences > General and see if that makes a difference. BTW, V. 14.0.2 of Capture One 21 is out.

Hi April,
Thanks for your reply. I'm aware that the M1 isn't officially supported yet, but, aside from my current issue, C1 seems to work just fine! And, thanks for your suggestion. Turning off hardware acceleration did indeed solve the problem!
Cheers,
