Activation - Capture One Express for Fujifilm
Cannot activate it!
Got by email activation code, insert it in the proper place (see screenshot) cannot continue...
Why so complicated?
Any idea how to activate?

You could try clicking on the Manual Activation option (just above where your email address is on the screenshot) and try entering your details manually instead of having the app look them up for you.

Which version of Windows are you using?
There are some security settings in Windows that may not be as required for connection for the Capture One License management server.
In the FAQ documents in the Community pages you should fine one or two articles that discuss this and offer possible solutions to check.

Never saw such a complicated way to install a program!
I went the Manual way - then you put your serial and have to scan a code - I scanned with my smartphone (1) and opened the link - being asked to name a device (why???) and after naming the device getting a message that the registration is Invalid (3) and contact the support!!!!
I cannot find the way to contact Capture One support!!! I can only post in this Forum!
Never, but never, saw such a strange and non friendly way to install a program!
I am about to give up...

Ron, the Manual process is mainly intended for those who are not at their base and have no reliable internet access.
If you have online access you should have no problem (usually) and the process is not very complicated.
One way or another people usually want to maintain their options for managing the software and which machine or machines they wish to use it with. This system does that.
You may, however, have a bigger challenge in that Capture One, version 21, does not officially support Windows 7. That seems reasonable since Microsoft does not support it either.
It disappointed me at the time - but then as that sort of situation seems to be standard for all apps on Android and MS have already managed to kill my Nokia Windows Phone some year ago (almost) I think we have to expect such situations and live with them.
Or take a completely different path. That is still possible, with care and patience.
For now.
