Import&delete images from Sony camera without corrupting database on SD card

Hi,

since my very first version of Capture One, it has been annoying that I can't use the C1 import&delete function with my Sony cameras because it will corrupt the database file on the SD card.

You will need to fix the SD card through the camera menu functions. Or you install and use the Sony PlayMemoryApp solely to get the files from the SD card onto your C1 import folder on your hard drive. Or you import without delete and then delete by formatting the SD card. All this of course adds EXTRA unnecessary steps to your workflow.

With C1 v21 claiming to improve productivity, I am astonished that Phase One STILL hasn't fixed this basic. If Sony can write a software doing this properly, Phase One should be able, too.

Simply contact Sony for the necessary steps and implement, done. That would be most welcome.
