Catalog synchronization

Hello,

This is for the very last version of C1 21.

I have a catalog merely reflecting one of my image folders. Changes (image deletion or new images) have been made from outside C1.

Then when using "Synchronize" on a given folder or subfolder, the result does not reflect what the Finder (and LR of course) shows.

Strangely enough, when synchronizing, the first dialog box indicates that some images are found, but the second does not want to import anything.

Even when verifying the catalog (which is found corrupted, then repaired), nothing helps.

EDIT :

Answer : C1 can only synchronize known folders

So one has to import folders created from outside and then everything works.

Hi, I would wish C1 would also discover the unknown, new folders and do a real OS Finder 1:1 synchronisation like in Media Pro, or Lightroom. On the other side, the C1 way you can exclude folders you don’t want in your catalog. I would prefer if you have the option to find and include new folders via full synchronisation.

One more thing. After synchronisation, it would be good to see which files would be new synchronised / imported, but it doesn’t show up under "Recent Imports"…
