Hangs on startup
Capture One 21 on a 2018 MacBook Pro/Mojave 10.14. It crashed on startup a few days ago and now it stalls when attempting to send a crash report -- it'll try to send the report for about 15 seconds and then the app just stops responding, leaving the little wheel spinning indefinitely. Cant explain how badly I need Capture One working again. Heeeeeelp!

David,
Maybe you could try to uninstall/reinstall ?

No dice, still hanging at startup. There's some script that's telling it to send a crash report that I can't find. Uninstalled/reinstalled twice and it still won't start up.

Well, this is worth submitting a request (top right corner of this page).

Will do, thanks Robert.

Bonjour, j'ai le même problème si tu as trouvé une solution, je suis preneur.

I have the same problem. You can prevent C1 from trying to send error reports by deleting (or renaming) two cache files Cache.db-shm and Cache.db-wal in Users/<user name>/Library/Caches/com.captureone.captureone14. You will have to show hidden files in Finder to see these folders/files (cmd + shift + .) Note that this only prevents sending the crash report so you might still hang from the original problem that caused the crash.

I was able to get up and going again, turns out it's a catalogue that tries to form when C1 is opening and I have the camera already turned on. Or, in the last instance, a hard drive that was being ejected while the app was opening. Note to self, don't have the camera turned on until the app is open and a new session has been started, and don't eject an external drive after clicking on the app to open it. Pain in da butt, but I'm up and going again.
