error message
I just installed capture one 21 (subscription licence for Sony camaras). It is working. However, when starting up capture one the following pop message appears. (101#7) General error: The syntax is incorrect. - static IP configuration (line 1: "Sony a7rIV|| ..."). Can anyone tell me what this message is all about and how I can avoid / solve it. The software appears to be working well. Has it something to do with ICC profiles?? Any advice is welcome.

If that is the full story directly from installation, you probably need to file a request for official support (see link at upper right on the page). If the story also includes having connected a camera (or perhaps a memory stick) to your computer, you could try searching for earlier postings on what appears to be similar trouble, for example the one year old https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009390878-Error-opening-capture-one-20

Thanks for the advice which was more or less hidden in the thread https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009390878-Error-opening-capture-one-20 . I have indeed solved the error myself.
Go to camera > network camera manager and remove all cameras mentioned in the pop up menu. That works.
