DNG support in C1 21?
Forgive me - I am new to this.
I take pics on an iPhone using a RAW camera app called ProCam. It creates DNGs.
When I import these I can make no adjustments at all.
To make sure C1 works on my Big Sur Mac I imported HEIC taken with the native iPhone camera. Works as it should.
I'd rather use DNG to have no sidecar files, but am I missing something here? C1 does not seem to support DNG.

Which version of Capture One? I just checked that Capture One can handle an iPhone Xs DNG created by the Halide camera program using the Pro version.
Your sidecar comment doesn't quite compute. Capture One NEVER updates an original image file in any form. If you want to save metadata changes an XMP file will be created. Doesn't matter the format of the original file. If you want your image adjustments you'll need to process the original, making a copy. The copy can contain your metadata changes, too. Your choice.

Thanks for the response, Marco.
(Forget the whole sidecar thing, then!)
I'm using iPhone XS with ProCam as the camera. But the DNGs simply don't work - can't make any adjustments. I've even tried running them through Adobe DNG converter first. No luck.

Crazy. It's now working with the original DNG. It's the first time I used C1 on this particular Mac (Big Sur) so maybe that had something to do with it. Baffled.
Anyway (for others) C1 most definitely supported DNGs created on iPhone.
