    I honestly don't why. This doesn't make any sense. I started shooting analog film with my Leica M7 and got all my images in JP2, ...and now this.

    My guess would be that the web based analytics across all available source probably show that very few people are using jpg2000. 

    I also note that, according to Wikipedia (yes, I know, not always a reliable source ....) some significant prime competition for C1 does not offer support.

    There will be a support cost involved, one way or another. 

    All costs, whether resource, time or fiscal, need to be reviewed periodically.

    This is terrible and ridiculous. One big 35mm motion picture film company sends lossless negative scans with jp2 format to customers. So this means that you have to stick with Capture 20. And if you want to use Mac with M1 native support. Well you only get it with Capture 21. lol.

    Same problem. Cannot use my Silbersalz35 files any more. This renders C1 22 useless for me.
