Overlays/filters

I frequently use multiple overlay filters. While C1 does have a single overlay function which is sometimes useful, there is no way to brush out the overly on the main subject for example. It would be helpful to apply an overlay inside a layer with the ability to use other controls. I find myself using C1 for basic work then switching to Luminar to apply any overlays as necessary, sometimes staying in Luminar to finish the image. I find myself thinking, why not just begin with Luminar to start with? If Luminar can provide this functionality, why not C1?

Thank you for your feedback on Capture One - we appreciate the time you’ve taken to contribute towards the development of the software.

I have forwarded your suggestions to have an overlay function inside a layer with the ability to use other controls to our Product Management team as something to consider in a future release.

Hopefully, your feedback contributes towards a future version of Capture One.
