Tethered Shooting with Canon R5 can be very slow
Obviously when a shooting is holding down the shutter for an extended period of time it is going to create a slowdown in capture one import but I have found this to be even more so the case with the Canon r5.
If you are shooting with any speed at all it very quickly can get you in a hole that is 30 seconds to a few minutes behind on images fully loading into capture. When this happens it is impossible to check focus or anything for that matter. and if you catch the problem too late into it even setting auto load next capture to never doesn't do what it's supposed to. You are stuck in this limbo that can only be solved by no shooting until the images catch up. But then it happens all over again. Any solutions to limit this problem?
I have had it happen on both 20 and 21. Im working on a 16 inch MacBook Pro with Catalina 10.15.7, 2.3 GHz 8 core i9, 64 GB 2667 ram.

hi Justin
maybe it helps if you reduce the size of the preview image!
the smaller the preview, the faster you can tether!
best regards
