Pair RAW with Jpegs while batch renaming not working

I am renaming in batch and want to Jpeg to have the same counter as the RAF file. It was working fine with some photos but now is renaming the files with the next sequence of numbers.

I reset counter and double checked that "Pair.."option is selected. This i s what is happening: it renames jpeg file 1 and raf file 1 as jpeg 1 and raf 2. I needs it to be same number for both raf and jpeg.

This crucial for me to understand why is happening because I think is the main reason for many time consuming issues I have with Capture One; that I cant find the corresponding jpegs and rafs because I think Capture one is renaming it it wishes while importing and while processing variant as well.

In summary:

1. I need to be able to rename in batch with same number for jpeg and raf

2. I need to make sure it not messing up the counter on the imports as well
