re-import in capture renders colors wrong

Just a guess: did you check the consistency of the color profiles in your round-trip-workflow?

    • capture one adds a profile at exporting the tiffs (based on the recipe)
    • photoshop might honour or ignore it on opening (based on adobe's colour management settings)
    • photoshop might add another profile or convert it on saving (based on adobe's colour management settings)

such a mismatch might alter the colours further every time it goes through this "pipeline"
(in my experience: photoshop's colour management defaults are mostly to blame for not alerting you when an profile is already included...)

Late to the party here, but could this be because C1's Rendering Intent is Perceptual and Photoshop uses Relative Colorimetric? I've always noticed a difference, however slight, between files when they're in C1 and when they're in Photoshop, enough that I always do at least a slight 1 point color curves adjustment to my files in Photoshop.

I have the same issue. The re-imported images look dark, green, and way under saturated. I created a style to apply which basically brings WB far blue, exposure up, and cranks saturation to 75% which brings the photo back to its starting point. But with those sliders cranked, it's hard to really do any editing. My image files are DNG's.
