Copying a layer

Please consider making it possible to copy a layer. There are times when one layer is not sufficient to accomplish a goal and it would be advantageous to be able to copy that layer to get an additional effect.

    Actually, you already can do that. Create a new Adjustment layer with the "+" at the bottom of the Layers tool, then right-click on the layer's name and choose to copy the mask from the layer you want.

    If you mean to copy specific layer(s) to another image, select the source and target image(s), click the Copy/Paste icon, check the layer(s) you want to copy and then select “Apply”.
