Keyboard Shortcut

Hi everyone

I use edit > openwith > affinity photo, a lot. Does anyone know how to create a keyboard shortcut for this command? I can then map that to a button on my Wacom tablet.

  This menu is nigh impossible to shortcut. Its not supported in CO's system, and you can't work around using the system shortcuts feature, in that is the Open With.../Edit with... menu's contents are asynchronous (meaning the contents aren't loaded until you click on it). 

  The only solution I have found that works is UI scripting - then call the script using the system shortcut. 

  Honestly the app would benefit from a proper solution.

  You might be able to do this with a third party app like Keyboard Maestro, or perhaps Apple's Automator (which comes with every machine).

  Keyboard Maestro doesn't require any coding per se. Just create a sequence from its very broad selection of operators and assign a keyboard shortcut to it. Since "Edit With" shows in a menu, I'm pretty sure you could do it. Keyboard Maestro is shareware and excellently maintained by its developer.

  Hi everyone

  Thanks for your replies and apologies for the delayed reply.

  So, I have found a solution. Thank you Abbott for the suggestion of Keyboard Maestro. I did find an alternative called Custom Shortcuts. This allowed me to create a keyboard shortcut for the command image>open with>affinity photo. 
  I then mapped this to one of the buttons on my Wacom.
