    Hi Jack,

Did you check that in View (main menu) "Recipe proofing" is cross checked ?

Thanks.  I checked to make sure that it is checked.  I have made a bunch of prints, and so far so good.  I will continue to monitor the situation.

    Thanks again.

As a followup, is there a difference between process recipes and export recipes?  From some of CaptureOne's comments following the recent changes to the export function and the complaints that followed, I wonder whether CaptureOne has changed the name of process recipes to export recipes.  I was not a recipe user.

    Thanks

Yes, they're now Export recipes. Also, the Exporter window is supposed to show the image with the Export Recipe applied. I think most (or all) of the complaints you've seen (including mine) are about how the new Exporter complicates the workflow compared with the old Process tools. The Exporter has some nice features, but it would have been much wiser to just add it instead of killing the old tools.

Adding a comment to the Abbott's one : Capture One realised that a lot of bugs and not user-friendly elements of this new "Export window" were introduced with this "improvement". They are thinking about releasing an update (14.4) late September.

    To Abbott:

Thanks for the clarification on process and export recipes.

I find the whole recipe proofing and Proof Profile to be extremely confusing. Someone needs to do a complete tutorial on printing from Capture One 21 since the new updates.
