Version 14.3.1: Still no hardware acceleration under macOS 10.15.7! No new Canon RF lens profiles!
Today I updated to version 14.3.1 - and of course I was curious whether the hardware acceleration on my iMac under macOS 10.15.7 would work again. It doesn't work - oh yes, could I really expect anything else from a company that does a lot to ignore legitimate user expectations for bug fixes. And this legitimised by a business leader who promises the blue of the sky in interviews and only lets little of it become reality.
In Capture One 13.x the hardware acceleration worked, then with version 14.0 it was no longer possible to activate it, but with 14.1 this was fortunately fixed. Finally, with 14.2 and 14.3 it could no longer be activated. This means that the developers know exactly how to fix the problem, but with a brazen and cheeky attitude, priorities continue to be set in such a way that even the fixing of this reported bug continues to be put on the back burner. How dare you?
Also, the very frequently requested Canon RF lens profiles were again not served.
Conscientiousness and honesty is a foreign word for you, isn't it?
Because I actually very much appreciate the concept of the Capture One Pro software, it pains me immensely when my professional image processing is decisively impaired by missing lens profiles and annoying bugs, among other things.

Using Capture One 14.3.1 on an Imac running OS 11.5.2, the CP1 preference tab shows hardware acceleration working for my system. Maybe in your case it has little to do directly with Capture One.

Hi Michael,
as I wrote in my initial post, I use CO Pro 21 under macOS 10.15.7 - not an insignificant difference, is it?
And of course I have made a corresponding request to the support department.
