C1 renaming files when moving to different folder
When moving files (raw and jpeg) to new folders within Capture One, it renames one of the files*, adding a " 1" at the end of the filename. Is this normal or am I just missing something?
*either the raw or jpeg, I don't see the logic as for which.

In your file system, do you have file extension visibility turned on?

I guess you mean the Finder, then yes.

Yes, I mean Finder. It sounded like the sort of thing that MacOS does when you save two files of the same name to a folder. Obviously myimage.jpg and myimage.NEF are not the same thing, but somehow it looks as though MacOS has treated them as if they were. Just thought it was worth asking about.
I think that users have mentioned this happening before, but I don't recall what the answer was, and it doesn't happen to me. It may be worth searching the forum to try to find other posts about it, and see if any of them solved it.

Yes, I had concluded with the same, that the two should be treated like seperate files. Didn't suspect the OS though, as in the catalog the file has been renamed with the " 1" suffix, and gets read correctly.
Did search, perhaps a little impatiently, will dig some more.
Thanks!
