How do I import my folder from version 20 into version 21
I just downloaded C1 v21 (foolish me). Now, how do I get my existing catalogs from version 20 into version 21? I want to keep my existing Catalog structure, ie, Catalog 2016, Catalog 2017, Catalog 2018, Catalog 2019, Catalog 2020, and Catalog 2021.
I went to Lily and found this, "Capture One Pro offers users the option to import and export Capture One Catalogs. Rather than switching between multiple Catalogs, importing small working Catalogs and creating one main or master Catalog may simplify workflow and improve search queries."
I do not want one monster catalog, I want to keep my existing file structure. I have been using it for 5 years and I want to continue using it.

You can do exactly that. All you need to do is open your new version 21, go to File>Open, and find the catalog file for the one you want to open.
(As you open catalogs, the recents list of catalogs and sessions at the top of the Library tool will repopulate, but it starts empty. After you have used a catalog once you can select it from that list next time instead of going File>Open.)
When you open an old catalog for the first time, Capture One will tell you that it needs to upgrade it to the new version 21 - just allow it to do so. It has to do this because each new version has new features that have to be incorporated into the catalog database. Capture One will automatically create a backup of the old catalog database. (But it is still prudent, of course, to make sure you have a backup using Time Machine or similar first.)

Alternative approach: select the catalog in Finder. Right click and Use Open With to make sure Capture One 21 is used.
The first time the catalog is opened you'll be notified that it will be updated to support the new version of Capture One. Once that is done the organization will be identical to what you had with Capture One 20. However: once the catalog is converted to Capture One 21 you will not be able to open it in Capture One 20. Have backups just in case.
