There may well be a bug with the folder drive management in the library tab.
I have found that I cannot remove folders or drives in the library. I have added them, they are currently there for good. I can remove either a drive or a folder, but after re-opening the catalogue, they appear again. This goes for newly added drives or folders, but also for old drives/folders that are no longer online.
I opened a support case for this, possibly the two issues are connected or caused by the same bug.

I also have the reappearing deleted folders and on top, my catalog seems to forget some changes occasionally. After importing images and assigning them to an album, they sometimes vanish from that album but they are still in "all images" and all adjustments are there. They also vanish from the recent imports. Actually I have ten folders in recent imports but all of them are empty. I thought that I might have screwed up the catalog when restoring a backup, but maybe the fault is something in C1?

Do open a support case. This seems a genuine bug.

A support case is open for almost three weeks. I didn't want to wait for a response any longer. So yesterday, I encoded the albums in tags, exported all originals and restored the albums in a fresh catalog, based on the tags. Hopefully that solves the problem.

I wonder if a fresh catalogilue will solve things.
If I add a new folder or drive in one of my current catalogues, I cannot remove it anymore, because as soon as I restart or re-open the catalogue, the folder or drive re-appears.
So it does not have anything to do with old paths or such.Edit:
I tested by making a new catalogue and adding/removing folders and drives, and newly created catalogues seem to work fine with regards to removing folders. Drives added and then deleted dó re-appear after restarting the catalogue though.
