LZW compression: C1 vs PS

I inquired about that a couple of years ago and was told the type of LZW compression used in C1 is a different type that is compatible with all applications but I have never seen any problems with LZW tiffs from Photoshop. Really a pain when you are trying to save some room on your drives or keeping upload sizes smaller for upload... I created an action in Photoshop to save as LZW. Really makes a difference if you have many final tiffs for delivery and archive.

thanks, me neither have ever heard about "incompatibility" of PS LZW.

In my case it is not a personal storage problem but the client wants files that are smaller than those produced by C1, hence I have no other choice than going through PS, waisting a LOT of time.
