    Keith Douglas,

None of the Pentax cameras are supported for full tethering as Capture One offers for some cameras.

After making a quick internet search is seems that tethering support is provided by a Pentax camera control utility and, in the cases I have seen listed so far, that uses the "hot folder" option to make images available to editors.

Going back about 5 or 6 years I see that there has been a utility tool for the 645Z that could be used as part of the tethering workflow to use a personally created colour interpretation directly from the point of capture before opening the file in Capture One - or indeed any other raw conversion software offering a hot folder monitoring method.

Presumably, Ricoh/Pentax has not been too keen to open up the control of the cameras to external software developers or whatever commercial terms they might wish to deploy in order to make the facilities available have not been commercially aligned with user demand or, perhaps, number of cameras units sold to people who seek fully tethered solutions.

Of maybe there has been some other commercial consideration to take into account.
