Import files from previews catalog WITH ADJUSTMENTS?
Hi!
I have a catalogue with messed up folder/file structure. But with very important adjustments.
As importing catalogue to a new one doesn't re-organize the files as I need (and doesn't even ask to!) I have only the option to re-import files from the disk. But than the adjustments are lost.
How to tackle this problem?
In Lightroom you've got adjustments written down in XMP files, but here they are useless
So?..

UPD. I asked - I found answer.
You actually can get XPM files to contain all the needed info if you "Export originals" with the option enabled. It's what you need.
I hope the topic will help somebody. But C1, c'mon, why don't you write adjustments to XMP as LR does? It's very handy feature if your catalogue fails - you loose only collections, nothing more, adjustments are all there.
What if the C1 catalogue fails? I'm now not as sure it's fail-proof solution as I was..1 -
C1 writes the adjustments in xml files when you are using a Session instead of a Catalog. But that is not the only difference, sessions are a very different concept, so make sure you really want sessions with all its differences.
When using catalog or catalogs, make frequent backups (configure the interval in preferences).
