Problems with "Hardware Acceleration" in M1 mac

I'm using M1 mac mini on macOS 'Monterey'

When I edit my photos with C1 21, editing speed is much slower and laggy in setting 'Auto for Hardware acceleration on display' than 'None for the option'.

I think it must be faster when I turn on 'Hardware acceleration' because GPU resource is added for performance.

Confusingly, when I set 'Auto for Hardware acceleration on processing', it makes better result. (much faster export speed)

I have two hypotheses.

1. C1 doesn't use GPU resource effectively during photo editing.(in spite of using Metal API)

2. When turn on hardware acceleration, C1 only use GPU not with CPU.

What is the answer?

Is there any room for improvement in hardware acceleration?

Did you figure out the best settings and out of curiosity what version of macOS Monterey were/are you running with Capture One 21?

This could help me out as I'm currently considering moving onto the lates macOS Monterey (or 12.3.x +) and I would appreciate hearing a follow up on your case.
