Figured a solution that works very well using Keyboard Maestro 10(KM)

In Photomechanic "command + E" key sends selected images to Capture 22.

    - Create a macro where hitting Tab triggers KM to type "command E" which then sends the images to C22 and opens up importer window.

    - Macro then continues to switch foreground app to c22.  Then pauses 1/2 s.  then macro types "Command A" which selects all images in import window.

    - Macro then pauses for 1/2 a second the types "S" keystroke which picks all selected images.

    - Macro then pauses for 1/2 a second then types "Return" which closes the importer window.

    - Macro the switches C22 to the foreground and images are ready for editing.

Now command a shortcut doesn't work in import window.  why are c1 engineers making c1 23 funtionality as unusable as c1 for ipad?

Now command a shortcut doesn't work in import window.

A quick experiment seems to show that it now works there the same as it does in other windows.

    • If you have no image selected at all, Cmd-A does nothing.
    • If you have al least one image selected, Cmd-A selects all.
