Blending different photos as layers

Love the new pano and HDR features in Capture One 22. As for HDR, it may be even greater to be able to manually blend a set of photos on different layers, for example, with a brushed mask. This could be a more generic way of applying any type of photo blending, including HDR and focus stacking.
