Brush cursor freezes when using mouse (Capture One 22)
Any tool that uses a brush does not work because the cursor freezes when using the trackpad or (BT) mouse and is completely unusable. It used to happen from time to time with v21.x, but changing the zoom level or switching back and forth between tools or from the grid view used to solve the issue. It is no longer the case with CO 22.
The issue does NOT exist with a Wacom tablet. Conclusion: CO is unusable without a tablet.
Computer: MacBookPro M1 Max 64 GB of RAM
OS: MacOs Monterey 12.1

Update: switching user (there are two users on this laptop) and coming back solved the issue. Very strange.

This may be a macOS thing. I use the Apple BT trackpad and it's been acting "different" in most apps since installing Monterey. Missing clicks and cursor jumps have been my biggest bugaboo. I've not yet noticed if the problem still exists on 12.1.
I use a Wacom with Capture One and as you noted there is no issue using the pen.

It could well be a MacOS thing but it definitively seems to be also related to CO. Just switch to the hand tool and the problem disappears.
I did not notice any issue with the cursor in other apps, be it in LR, PS or any other app.
Their was a known issue with Monterey 12.0.1 for some users and the trackpad where clicks would not register, but Apple reported that it fixed it with 12.1

Ahh, didn't notice that 12.1 claimed to fix the lost clicks issue.

I'm also experiencing this as well. Brushes freeze or stutter when I move the mouse over the photo in the Viewer. Mouse pointer moves smoothy over the interface, but freezes when pointer switches to a brush. This doesn't happen when I use the Wacom pen (Intuos BT). MacOS Monterey 12.2, C1 15.1.
