I was not able to make it work with Leica S3 and Capture One 22 on an M1 MacBook running macOS Monterey.

Hi, i found this in the section support. Maybe an issue of camera firmware.

Will Capture One run on my ARM-based Mac?

    ANSWER

We’re committed to delivering the best possible software performance on any operating system we support – that’s why we re-architected Capture One from the ground-up to run natively on M1 computers. Hereby, Capture One 21 (14.2.0) is natively supported on Apple Silicon (M1) machines. Additionally, Hardware Acceleration on Apple Silicon (M1) machines will run through Metal. Hardware Acceleration on Intel-based Apple machines still runs through OpenCL.

Please keep in mind that if you are experiencing issues with USB3 tethering on Canon cameras, you should try to update the firmware first. For detailed information on how to do it please visit Canon website

Previous versions of Capture One will still run on ARM-based Mac computers using Rosetta 2 emulation platform although with one known limitation concerning tethering. So, if tethering is critical to your workflow we highly recommend keeping Capture One up to date

MBP with M1 chip + C1 22 are causing major problems for me too.

I cannot get Capture One to detect my Canon 5D Mark IV for more than a few minutes, and sometimes not at all. I've tried nearly everything including suggestions from support, to no avail. Unsure how I'm supposed to use the program. So disappointing.

And yes, my camera firmware is up-to-date and I'm using a cable less than 3m. I'm completely at a loss.
