Client image selects.
I'm looking for a simple solution that will allow my clients to select images and that is fast for me to select in Capture One.
Currently, I upload the pre-selected images to dropbox using the quickproof export function, then the client selects the images that they want (image numbers) and sends the list back. I then go through this list manually and star the selected images in capture one. This is obviously very time-consuming. I was thinking of creating a simple XLS file that the client copy and pastes their selects in, then using this, creating a search in Capture One to shortlist the images. This used to work in LR, quite well. Is there a simple solution I'm overlooking?

The second part is easy, once you have a list from the client of to be selected images, choose the correct collection in c1 so that all images which could be part of the client select list are in the browser, then goto
menu>Select>Select by>Filename list
and paste the list.
The images should be selected then and you can star rate or color tag them, or drag them to a album, or keyword them.
