Importing pics into aperture user collection

I imported my aperture Library into C1. Now it shows up under "user collections"

When I want to import a new pic, I can only import to a collection called "last imports".

I would expect to see my recently imported user collection and check it as a destination.

But when I check anything else than "last imports" I get an error message.

I guess I misunderstand the import process... although I have read a lot of help texts.

Can somebody put me on the track

  A collection is a grouping, the same as an album in Aperture.  You can put the same image in many different collections.  Or none at all.  The "last import" is a convenience collection that you can use or ignore.

  Are you copying your images into the catalog (managed) or adding the images to the catalog (referenced).   I use referenced.   My images live in various folders on a hard disk and are referenced by Capture One.   I can get at the images via the "Folders" section of the Library tool.  Or I can get at them through any collection the images might be in.  I tend to use smart collections based upon keywords added shortly after import.  There are many, many ways to organize images in Capture One (and/or on your disk).

  y images are also referenced, residing on a LAN-network volume.

  When I import a new picture, C1 shows this:

  

  I import the image the the refenced file structure.

  At the same time I would like to add the new image to my collection.

  I don't find it in the pulldown for collections; when I mark anythings eccept "Only import session" I'll get a warn-flag followed by a message, that this is not possible...

  So, can I import the image into the collection already at this point?

  Or do I have to do this later?

  Got it ...

  In Aperture I have build my structure using projects.

  Obvouisly I cannot define such a procejt as an import collection.

  It has to be an album or a folder.

  So maybe I redefine my aperture structure before importing

  Long ago I imported my Aperture library into CaptureOne. All projects and albums that you created in Aperture will be in “User Collections “, just as all Albums, Projects and Groups one creates in CaptureOne will be in “User Collections”. Probably the Aperture projects and al bums will be inside some top level group in User Collections - you will likely want to move them to top level or inside some other user collection - this is easily done by dragging the project or group.
  You can only choose an import destination to be a User Collection. CaptureOne will automatically ALSO choose all of the following destination collections - All Images, Last Import, some Import collection for your date, and a catalog folder mapped to the OSX folder where your referenced image is.
