Are we going the Adobe way?

haha, adobe products have far less bugs and problems are superior in many regards, get constant great updates and this all for very much the same price since the launch of the subscription. here well we all know....

I totally agree. In their video "comedy show", Dave and Paul promised us great new features, but what did we get for our money?

An AI based autorotate that is erratic at best. It may be Artificial but it is absolutely not Intelligent.

An HDR merge pano that delivered a good workflow but a poor Image Quality. Even Affinity Photo delivers a better IQ, albeit at a less convenient work flow while PTgui has both good IQ and workflow.

I do not use wireless tether but if I am reading the marketing blurbs correctly, it only works for Canon cameras.

It is not all bleak, the pano stitch does a decent job. Although I do not understand why you have to manually adjust the light fall-off to a value of 100, none of the other pano stitch programs that I have used required manually setting the light fall-off.

I wish that C1 would borrow a caveat from the car commercials, "Professional driver on a closed circuit track don't try this at home". Or at least tell us when we could expect their product to go from "Dream ware" to a working application.

haha, very true, it is actually so dumb that it applies a correction even when a correction is not needed, great job developer !!

What a surprise - more futile whining from CSP...

now you pay 209 euro, for nothing really new

    So don't upgrade!

Does this really need to be spelled out?

You're not paying attention. The issue is that you get penalized for skipping versions. The upgrade pricing increases every year you skip, so in no time you're paying for a full version again even though you owned a previous version (for which you should get a cheaper upgrade price). That's the not so subtle way of "forcing" people onto the subscription plan when they realize that skipping versions is not actually saving them any money.
