Adjustments getting copied twice
I'm currently working with Capture 22. When I adjust a layer such as exposure and try to copy it to a set of images that already has an exposure layer, it copies an additional exposure layer instead of adjusting the current exposure layer it already has. This issue doesn't happen with Capture 12. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

I get this as well with layers, sometimes end up with many additional adjustment layers on images when going back to adjust and then copy adjustments..haven't found out where I can turn it off..

Some time back C1, when copying layers top other images, would simply replace whatever layers already existed. All of them.
This was not always desirable so the process was changed to always append copied layers to target images and leave any existing layers they already had applied. Users can then decide which ones to keep and which to discard.
Neither option suits everyone.
However, unless the application is redeveloped to enforce some sort of identity consistency for specific layers in different image edits - and to have that enforced in advance of any editing taking place in order to permit some sort of logic checking - it is never going to be certain that any naming convention is being consistently applied. Indeed any sort of "convention". Naming alone may not be an acceptable approach to such overwrite functionality for many users.
It could become an interesting challenge for both the development team and users who may be forced, by computer-required logic, to create and consistently work with layer identification methods whether they are naturally inclined to or not.
