Incredibly Slow Launch Time

I do not have serious complaints about Capture One's speediness in most ways.

But the launch time for this application is crazy slow. From the time I click  the icon until it's running is 7 1/2 minutes! I tested it twice today. I haven't had launch times this slow since my Mac Plus back in 1986.

I think I've addressed the usual issues -- I quit Capture One with the Recent Import selected (today's was 23 images), and I've run the Test Integrity and the Optimize Catalog functions.

I'm not sure what else to do. This is so slow I may have to abandon Capture One for one of the competitors.

Any ideas?
