    Any config will work (ie. 8GB), but realistically 16GB is the base and 32 or more is certainly recommended.

    thanks - I've got a 16gb laptop coming and a 64gb Mac Studio coming

    Good luck with the new Mac Studio. I have one coming as well (first or second week of April) to replace a 2008 MacPro and 2010 MacBook Pro.
