Rename files help needed.

Morning guys. I need your help. I‘m photographing clothing/apparel on models and i need to name the files like this : PRODUCTCODE-1, PRODUCTCODE-2, PRODUCTCODE-3, PRODUCTCODE-4…. For the next Product I scan I need to name it the same : NEWPRODUCTCODE-1, NEWPRODUCTCODE-2, NEWPRODUCTCODE-3, NEWPRODUCTCODE-4….. Can i do this somehow without having to reset manually the counter ?! Maybe with applescript or somehow on export ? Right now I‘m naming the files like : Clipboard Contents - Camera Counter (5 digits) and than rename it with Python. I want to be able to do it straight in C1. Basically be every new Clipboard content scanned, reset the counter to 1. Thank you.

    If you're using Capture One Studio and a barcode scanner you can write a small script that will reset the counter and set it as the barcode scanned background script. I wrote a small app that makes setting background scripts easier. 

    Similarly you could use the batch done background script which is called when the batch process queue completes.

    Unfortunately I'm not using Capture One Studio. 

    Does second option (batch done) work for my situation ?

    Yes, batch done works in Capture One Pro. 

    Shoot, you'll have to set the script the manually way. You can either write a script that sets the batch done to a script file or the source of a script itself.

    So again, the way I'm doing it now - i'm scanning the barcode into an python dialog box - and in Capture one naming I use the Clipboard Contents - Camera Counter (5 digits). 

    Can I do something like...when there's new clipboard content, reset the counter to 1 ? Instead of my clicking a button every 5-6 shots ? Pretty annoying !
