External editing with capture one express

I am unable to use the Edit With command to send developed, edited images in Capture One Express to Affinty Photo for more granular edits. Can only use The Open With command, which takes me to Affinity Photo but sends the Raw image, not the developed tiff from C1.

I can export and reimport but that is slow and cumbersome.

why isn’t the Edit With function working?

  Anybody found a solution to this? I have the same problem. I am using MacOS Ventura, but it does not work also on Catalina. I have Capture One Express 23, I check 21,22, they also do not work. Only in Capture One 20 Edit with works as it should.
