You should be able to log in to your account at Capture One and then

    • deactivate Capture One on the old computer
    • download it to install on the new one. On the download page, you will need to scroll down quite a long way to find the link to older versions.

BUT you need to be sure that the older version you have will run on the new computer, I don't know whether you are using a Mac or a Windows PC, but you ought to check what versions are supported for your operating system.

Hi Ian, If I replace my PC and do as you suggest above will all the catalogues be available on the new PC please? I have stored the majority of my images on a NAS drive and usually export to the same folder as the source raw file. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards, Peter

Should be fine. You would need to use File>Open the first time you open each catalog because the new installation of Capture One won't have a recent files list in the Library tool - that will build up over time as you use them. Also depending on the exact set up you may need to use the Locate Folder option on the File menu if the new installation doesn't; seem to know where the images are - no big deal, and there is online help if otyu need it plus advice from fellow users here.
