I thought it was only 10. But I know of no way to increase it.

I don't know about the Mac version, but the Windows version used to have a "user.config" (xml content) that can be edited using a decent text editor. Used to have means that my v20 has that file, I do not know about versions 21 and 22 as I have not upgraded.

Capture One uses the term "document" to cover both catalog and session. Inside that user.config file you should find an xml element <Document-manager-settings> with child element <RecentlyUsedDocuments> which in turn has a child a child element <InternalList> and the more relevant child element <MaxSize>. In my user.config:  <MaxSize>10</MaxSize>. That used to be the default, like Ian Wilson says. I have no idea why your installation has 15 if you never changed it. Capture One may not handle <MaxSize>10000000000</MaxSize> and make it look pretty on you screen, but I have occasionally worked with 20.

FYI I confirmed that my Mac based CO22 allows up to 14 catalogs on the list. I presently have 20 which means I have to make frequent trips via the "browse" button. Digging into xml elements is beyond my pay grade so it would not be worth the risk... for me at least.

    Nonetheless thanks for the information.
