Change language on C1 22 / Monterey
Hey,
I am new to MacOS, coming from Windows, so bear with me if my question sounds / is stupid:
I try to change the language in C1 22 from German to English. I already know that I have to use a shell command to do so (question: why has this not been implemented as in Windows?) but using the given examles I fail to change it nevertheless.
In the terminal I execute the following command:
defaults write com.phaseone.captureone15 AppleLanguages '(en)'
Did I miss something? Do I need to have to admin priviliges? (but a "read" shows that the new value is stored)

This should work:
defaults write com.captureone.captureone15 AppleLanguages '(en)'

Or: System Preferences > Language > Apps add Capture One and set it to English

Thank you very much! Both methods worked fine.
I think the way via the System Preferences is the more easy one. It would be nice if C1 would document this in their system docs.
Again: Thanks a lot!

@Kassur
System Preferences > Language > Apps add Capture One and set it to English
I can't imagine the circumstances where I'd need that - but that's brilliant! 😄 I had no idea MacOS had that.
Thanks

@Shane
For you english speaking people its maybe not that obvious, but for me as a German its often easier to set a program language to english when the (internet) documentation, discussion etc. of that program is mostly written in english. And in this case it makes it easier to use it.
