Spam again

Here's yet another spam post.

When will Capture One do anything about providing a convenient way to report posts in the forum? If it can't be done, tell us so. If it can be done tell us why you won't do anything about it. 

AND WHY DO YOU NEVER EVEN GIVE A REPLY TO COMPLAINTS LIKE THIS?

(Yes I know capitals represent shouting. I am intending to shout.)

  Hi Ian,
  
  Thanks for making us aware.
  We are trying to find a solution with the options available from Zendesk and I am in contact with their support at the moment.
  What is really helpful is when spam is marked with a minus (-), as it allow us to suspend user and all posts related to that email. It is way faster than deleting spam posts one by one.
  
  Until we hopefully find a better solution, please keep “rating” the spam posts with a minus and we will delete as fast as we can.

  I've stopped "reporting" it, Ian - pointless effort on our part. There's more than that new example to be found - eg:

  (Land for sale in Vietnam is about as on-topic as asking users why Capture One has made a design decision not to allow GPS Exif to be edited...)

  April, the solution is simple: official, active forum moderation.

  Unfortunately we cannot moderate every single post in our user-to-user forum as it would take too many resources away from solving tickets and writing articles in our Help Center and it would delay the dialog between the users.

  We have been in contact with Zendesk and they do not have an option for users to report spam.

  That being said we have just started on plans to rework the forum, improve the spam filter and other initiatives that we hope you will like - as we realise that the current setup is not ideal.

  We do appreciate your participation despite the shortcomings of the forum.

  We are looking forward to showing you the improvements when ready.
