A way of adding/editing GPS metadata

Also agree. GPS metadata support is very poor currently.

YES! One reason for this is to add GPS to various images:

    1. Shots from my digital camera that does not include a GPS function. In my case, that's ALL my shots!

    2. Scanned color slides from my collection (I have quite a lot)

    2. Photos from other sources -- friends, internet

If you are worried about altering source information, then provide a way to add a "revised" GPS while (if you insist) on images that already have a GPS.

Aperture let me do this so easily. Please do it. Thank you.

On Mac there is the app „neo finder“ that can add GPS data to photos. Either via built-in maps or taking the position over from Google Earth. Very handy.

Another vote for this here.  New to Capture One but totally surprised I couldn't add the data!!!

I doubt this will be introduced in Capture One anytime soon, if ever. Metadata doesn't appear to have much priority.

For now I've resorted to buying Photo Mechanic, partly for this purpose, but I find its interface pretty clunky. This new application looks promising but doesn't yet have editing capability; it's supposed to be introduced at a later time.
