Some suggestions for future updates

Here are a few things that I’d like to suggest:

Work Flow. Can you make it possible to create Actions like in Photoshop? I do many things over and over again, and it’s shear drudgery to have to type each keystroke command every time. I’d like to be able to type and record any number of keystrokes, have that convert to one Custom Key command, and this would be a workflow godsend.

Sessions. I only use Sessions. In the Library tab it will show the last ten Sessions. Could you increase that to an unlimited number of Sessions? I often want to go back months to the original Session folder to re-work images so why not give me the option to keep an unlimited number of Sessions in the Library. If a user wants to keep only a limited number of Sessions, then that’s up to them.

cosessiondb If for some technical reason only 10 Sessions can be held in the Library tab, then could you make it easier to find the cosessiondb file from older Sessions, and do so within Capture One? I cannot see the cosessiondb files in C1’s Library file tree. Ironically I CAN see them in Adobe Bridge, and if I double click that file in Bridge then it opens perfectly in C1. I’d love to do that from C1 and not in a competitor’s product.

Vignetting in C1 is not nearly as good as Lightroom’s. Could you fix that?

Keyboard Shortcuts I would like to see way more keyboard shortcut possibilities. The new Magic Eraser doesn’t have one while Magic Tool brush does. I’d like one for “Copy mask from layer below”.

A comment about vignetting - the vignetting tool has been the same for years, and I guess that they are unlikely to want to make changes to it, on the basis that the radial mask that we have now is a much more flexible tool for doing the same job.

I think existing Vignette Tool can be replaced with better version. Controls can be borrowed from Radial Mask along with priority option flexibility to choose center point etc..

I wish Capture One for Desktop focuses on important things. I can imagine the iPad version absorbs a lot of the team work, how many professionals will develop on iPad?...
My requests:

- A better, new, efficient noise reduction
- A better graphic performance on Mac M1!
- More options to tweak KB shortcuts (for instance I'd like to use the color B&W sliders)
- A more powerful tool to work on skin, Clarity is sometimes just not enough
- And last but not least: a way of adding borders in Exporting recepies.
