Wireless Tethering via Personal Hotspot

Hello,

I am trying wireless tethering through a Sony A7R4. I was able to connect without issue using my wifi however if I connected my Mac and camera via my iPhone Personal Hotspot a connection could not be made between the two.

I was just wondering if what I am trying to do is supported.
